In a parallel universe, this is how traffic would behave

Four days ago

S: There are a lot of cars out today Mama.
Me: You're right honey.
S: If all these cars drove on the sidewalk, then all the people would have to walk in the street.
Me: Oh? that would be interesting.
S: Yes... if all these cars drove on the sidewalk, people would have to walk in the street. That would be really silly.

Two days ago:
S: Did you know the sun doesn't move?
Me: That's right honey. The Earth moves around the sun.
S: But if we're driving in cars, the sun does move.

As I experienced this second story I told her that the sun does actually stay the same... but as I write it, can you not see the simplicity of the statement... that as the car is moving around, it does actually seem the sun is moving.

I have to start carrying a notebook around for these 4 year old points of wisdom.
