Last night Sydney was explaining to me that all of her friends were discussing how to trap leprachauns. I told her it's very hard but we'll build a trap for one.
Apparently they live in mushrooms. They are in constant search for gold. They are very tiny and quick.
That's what my daughter tells me anyway. So I explained that between 6am and 7am I will help her make a trap.
So at 1am in the morning she wakes me up and says, "Can we make our trap now?"
"Honey, it's 1am, you need to wait until 6am."
At 6:24 she comes in and exclaims, "It's time to make my trap!"
"Ok! Gather a shoe box and a bunch of shiny stuff to lure the buggers in."
Nathan had a broken jumprope that worked perfectly.
And of course, if you catch one, how will you see it if you are using a shoe box? We built a peek-a-boo window on top.
I'll try to take a picture later.
