Team Weddle Reporting

Wow! has it really been two months???? Time to bring you up to date!

Sydney:
Graduates from her montessori school June 3! We're so proud of her. We are hoping she'll get into another school within the district for second grade but won't find out until August.

She is in love with tennis and tap dancing. After exposing her to many things, these are the two items she's attached to. Artistic and athletic... love it.

Ethan:
He starts Montessori June 13 this summer with is very best buddy.
He is in love with super hero's right now and Scooby Doo (old school shows).
Super funny. He's a laugh a minute these days with how he shakes his butt to music and says everything is "spicy."
"You're not my best friend!" We hear this phrase at least 2x day for each of us. Happens when he doesn't get his way. Oh well.
Everything is a poo-poo head and when we ask him for nice words he says everything is a cocoa head. What are you going to do?

Nathan:
He's home right now, this week. Gone last week and gone next week LOL!
Both of us are still at our jobs and our recreation time is spent working out at our home away from home.

Me:
I'm always home. Although we did get to Chicago for my work and then a few days of mommy-daddy time. That was a blast!
Completed 3 half marathons in 6 months! I have a darling running partner. For anyone who runs, you know some people find it 1) difficult to run with someone vs. being alone 2) difficult to find someone to run with you like and lastly 3) not very easy to find someone that actually runs the same pace as you!

Anything else coming up??? Ummmm.... well our new rainstorm right now is telling us we need to tear down the wall by our front door to find out where our ongoing leak is. The good news is that nathan agreed we can use this opportunity to replace the front door! One of the many things I miss about Texas are lead glass doors.

I learned to install drip lines in my garden and for once I will probably not kill something I planted. Of course, I really had to question my skills when we lost water pressure 3 days later. I felt such relief when the neighbors were experiencing the same issue! I couldn't possibly have ruined their ability to flush toilets too, could I?

Kids are getting ready for summer. There is soccer, tennis and swimming. We'll be working on the kids' transition to new schools. No trips planned but discussions of Colorado are always a topic.

That's about it! Here is hoping it's not another two months!
