Reveling in the purist of moments... My body is in no pain. The kind of pain that throbs and wakes you up at night about 2 times and forces you to go downstairs to get pain meds and ice packs.
Don't get me wrong.... My rhomboids are killing me. I have no flexibility in my hip flexors. I'm just shy of the horrid pain from sitting on the loo.
But I have absolutely NO shoulder pain the last week. It finally hit me yesterday when I was up against a workout with heavy lifting of jerks and then a WOD involving thrusters of 15-21-36. I thought, "OH man! This involves the shoulders. My shoulders actually feel good and this whole workout could not only make them sore.... but ruin them."
But I did it. I kept it about form and a bit of weight for the lifting. But the thrusters... went out.
I had no pain. I'm so happy that for at least a while, there's no pain.
Can I say it again? No pain.
And top it all off... I ran 800 meters today in 3:42 and 4:01. If you push those together can you say you ran a mile in 7:43? Probably not...but it sounds good.
