Oh no... maybe he could actually sense it was a, dare I say it, healthy cake?? Maybe he just knew I had sweetened it with juices. Maybe he could tell that it had no chocolate in it?? Could he see it was brown from wheat flour?
My scrapbooking opportunities were looking dim until I thought, "Hey... maybe get him a little chocolate cake on his actual birthday." To hell with no chocolate.... damn the no-sugar law.... we're going all out for the second go-around.
He's sure to LOVE it!!
Result: Cake Throw-down. At least I have my scrapbooking material.
