Where's the berries?

Ok... Berry picking in California was not so ripe. Blackberries were quite juicy but Blueberries were still a little green/white. I'll need to budget a trip to TX next year to get my berries. I'm sure it has something to do with the moisture. In TX last year, it was raining every day for months... here, we're in the middle of drought-induced fires.
