My time to reflect...

Sydney just turned four years old. Every time I think of that, I want to cry. It's a happy cry as I look at this beautiful little girl that is so FUNNY!

Her loves:
Tigger.
Daddy.
Ethan.
Ariel.
Aurora.
Make believe with princesses.
Savannah.
Taking care of her baby.
Doesn't like me singing at night anymore. She'd rather I tell her stories about when she was a baby. Or tell her stories about fairies.
T.V.
Getting her nails done with Grandma Pat.

Her dislikes:
Approns (dentist was a problem)
Socks
California on occasion (wants to go back to Texas and be with Ms. Joell and Savannah)
Jackets and sweaters while in the car. (Mama, it's not cold IN the car.)

Her abilities:
Take cookies off the sheet and onto the rack.
Can swim, hold her breath and basically not drown in the pool. No fear of the water after 4 weeks of swim lessons.
Soccer.
Ride a bike.
Loves Rides at the fair.
Can play in the tent that used to be on the "Dislike" list.
Write her name.
Skip.
Brush her own teeth.

Her language:
Calls everyone a "Honna Head" This is an improvement over "Tooty Head". We love it, it's her experimentation with language.
"Actually mama..."
"Mama, aren't I gorgeous?"
"Mama, Don't put your elbows on the table"
"Mama, what are their names (servers at Red Robin)?" I don't know. "They are Robin Makers."
Whining... had to note that here. But more importantly, she has the ability to stop it when we tell her to use her "Big Girl voice".

Her stats:
Height: 45 inches
Weight: 55 lbs.
Shoe size: 12
Eye color: some days green, some days brown
State of her hair: Definately still curly... even without the humidity. We're hoping she'll get some back when the winter in Sacramento hits.

Events of the year that I know I haven't blogged.

• Swim lessons : Goal was to get her swimming on her own
• Dentist: Went to the dentist 2x! First time better than the second... blog topic.
• Moved: Went from a Cow girl to a California girl
• Promotion: Became the "oldest" of our kids.
• Airline miles: Got her first frequent flyer program via Continental.
