Teasing Mommy.
She knows it's my birthday this week. So she started to sing "Happy Birthday" to me. After a while, she would switch to singing about her. She only did this because I got my crinkle nose and started tickling her... our fun game of teasing mama.

"I knew that"
Oh we're in for it....

Nathan said to her one day, "Oh honey, you look so cute today." She was wearing a headband that allows her to show off her eyes.

She walks away exclaiming, "Thanks. I knew that."

"It's foggy out today. It's foggy out today."
"We can't see a thing. It's foggy out today."

She just made this up on a foggy morning while we were driving to school.

"I am."
Sydney has had this thing where if she is thinking really hard but can't get the words out fast enough... she'll simply say the following, "I'm sorry. I know. I am."

It's the cutest thing in the world and started about a year ago and she still does it. We just respond, "Uh-huh, I'll bet."
