Counting and alphabet
Sydney can now count to 20 and then 13 in Spanish. She'll go up and down our steps counting each of them.
She now just breaks out in song singing the ABC's, all the way through and complete.
Thinking too hard
We were watching "Pooh's grand adventure" this afternoon. Pooh was trying to think very hard. He did this by poking his head with his finger. So Sydney decided to think too. Except she poked too hard and yelled, "OWWWWIEEE." I told her, after laughing, "Honey, you don't have think THAT hard!" She laughed at me, almost like she got the joke!
Learning spanish
We read Dora every night... almost 5 books of Dora. Through these books, she's learned 2 words that she uses ALL the time (besides the numbers). When we tell her to climb in the car, or climb the stairs or climb into her bed... she starts saying "Sube, Sube, Sube." That's "climb, climb, climb."
The other favorite is "Vaminos!" We'll say, "Come on sydney, let's go!" She'll respond, "OK, Vaminos!"
Still practicing sign language
Sydney is still practicing sign language. She'll try to do the letters for the alphabet and she always signs Please.
