Say What?

Here's an idea of what is going through my sons head.

We're driving along and Sydney asks me to be fancy.

"Oh, I know I look scummy right now honey, I'm sorry."

"No Mommy, just act fancy. You know, with your hands and the way you talk. Be fancy like that."

"You know we can also be elegant Sydney. That's a fancy word for fancy."

"Oh yes mama... we'll be elegant. Ethan you can be elegant too."

Ethan proudly protests, "No. I Cool."

I asked him, "You're cold?" (because it's 2 year old speak).

"NO! I COOL!" He exclaims.

Sydney clarifies with, "Mama, he said he's COOL."

And we all started laughing hysterically. Hadn't heard this one come out of his mouth yet.

Ethan picks out the pink Dora potty seat, walks around in high-heeled princess shoes and would rather play with the pink bubbles.... but always remember that Tinker Bell goes for rides in fire trucks and he is one bad-axx cool Dude.
