Say Whaaaa?

We had some beautiful flowers at the house this last week. Sydney loved them of course because Grandma Pat and Grandpa Rich brought them over.

Last night, after Pat put her to sleep, she came down and cleaned out the dead buds.

This morning Sydney saw the dead buds in the trash and here's what she said:

"Mama, why you throw my flowers away!?"

I replied, "I didn't honey, Grandma did that last night to get rid of the bad ones."

She exclaims, "MAMA... why you tell Grandma Pat to throw my flowers away?"

I replied, "honey, I didn't."

She warns me, "MAMA>>>> I'm THIS close..." with her fingers pinched together like they are showing you how big an inch is.

Man, she was MAD at me for nothing.... I'm in for it for the next 20 years....
