And I FOUND the Emergency Room!

We moved into the house on a Thursday. Nathan left for Texas Sunday. Monday I was home with Ethan and a fever. And then that afternoon got a call from Sydney's school that she's gotten a bead stuck up her nose. Doctor recommends the ER as they have the tools.

Wow... when we moved to Texas from Colorado, it took Sydney a whopping THREE WEEKS to get us to the ER for pneumonia! She's getting better at this.. only took us a whopping THREE DAYS this time!

My Mom comes over to watch Ethan while we hurry on over and wait for 2.5 hours for her to sneeze the thing out finally.

Word to the wise: Never allow a raisin or pea up the nose. Rocks and beads are better, they don't SWELL.

Can this day (two weeks) be over yet??? I get home and we haven't even eaten yet. Ethan's doing better... Mom's on her way out and I'm singing her praises (thank you thank you thank you).... and she proceeds to joke, "Next time, lose my phone number. Haha... I'm JOKING!"

this is why we don't believe in Montessori teaching, Montessori is all about the beads, the counting beads, the sorting beads ... no beads == no beads up the nose

:P
