Sydney's words she's said:
April 2006:
Situation one: We were sitting at Einstein Bagles and she wanted the milk we had bought her. It was on the other side of the table. She said, "me - me?" pointing to the milk. "You want your milk?" I asked. She replied and signed, "pwease" Now she is saying and signing "pwease" whenever she wants something. Now I'm teaching "thank you."
Situation three: This morning she wanted some juice (ju). I asked her if she wanted some apple juice.
Her reply: "yes. affl ju pwease."
Then I told her how it was raining outside, using the sign for rain. She immediately signed it back and said, "way."
